Digg 3.0 Launched Today

Digg.com rolled out a major update today, the main part of which included several newly added categories. New categories include Video, World and Business, and Gaming, which expands the range of choices a good deal, but when submitting this story today, I really didn’t feel like there was a category that it fit into. I was wishing that the “Links” category was still there.
It also looks like they may have tweaked the design and placement of their Google Adsense ads, which will probably add increase their daily ad revenue significantly.
One feature that I was not happy about at all was added functionality to the whole “friend” network aspect of Digg. Now the user admin panel shows a section of people that have added you as a friend. This pretty much renders the new SEOlogs.com Digg Friends tool useless. I’ll leave it for a while though, and hope people don’t notice. ![]()
