Hey BlogRush. Is This Thing Working?

Earlier this week, I finally got around to checking out the BlogRush website. I watched the video that explains how their program works. Basically, I put the BlogRush widget on my site. It shows posts from other blogs, and the more traffic I get, the more times my blog posts are shown on other sites. It seemed like a cool idea, so I went ahead and signed up.
It took a while for them to approve my blog, but yesterday, I was finally able to log in, I saw some stats showing how my traffic, and how many pageviews I’ve earned. My balance is currently over 14,000 (i’m assuming thats 14,000 times they will show my posts on other sites), but I haven’t noticed any extra visits yet. Maybe it takes a while, or maybe it’s just that no one is clicking on the BlogRush widgets. Is anyone else seeing any increase in traffic?

Hmmm…. I think BlogRush is more helpful if you get 100K or more visitors per day based on my experiences.

I don’t think many SEM blogs get that much traffic. Even the biggest SEM Blogs, like SEOmoz and SEObook get only around 7,000 to 10,000 visits per day.

I can’t say too much about blogrush - they banned my blog that i had registered on it for some reason and since then I just blocked the widget from appearing on any site… i gave up on it ever working… Seems like a good idea gone horribly wrong.
