Where the Magic Happens

It seems like it has taken forever to get everything set up and feeling like home in our new house (I think it’s been about 3 months), but I think we’re finally done. So I thought I’d post a few pictures of my new office setup.

We actually have 2 spare rooms that I could have used as my office, but I really don’t like being cut off from everything, so I decided to put my office down stairs, in a part of the living room. It’s kind of it’s own little rectangular space (with a mini whiteboard
), and I really love it.
I’m very proud of my little collection of books that I’ve been building over the past several years.

These were some of my books from grad school. The main concentration there was Java.

Those starting from the TCP/IP book were also from school, and those before are some that I bought when I started to get interested in making money online.

More of my favorite books and programming languages. Lately I’ve been working a lot with Ruby on Rails.
If I can give one little piece of advice in this post, I’ll say that you should never stop learning. The bigger your skill set is, the more options you have when it comes to developing websites. It can make the difference between just having a great idea, and being able to turn that great idea into a reality.
Well that’s it. My little space where I spend most of my waking hours. I work hard, but it is well worth it.
