Should I be Flattered?

It looks like Smart pagerank, the really bad dnScoop.com knock off, will soon be one of many dnScoop clones. Last night, a friend called my attention to a site called scriptlance, where you can hire freelance programmers to do jobs for cheap.

So far for Project: dnScoop, there are 3 bids, the lowest for $50 from someone called anurag01, who comments “i can do this for u efficiently.”
I really don’t know what to think about this, other than, please, spend more time than the developer of Smartpagerank did.

This is insane man! Crazy, Crazy. It sounds like dnscoop really got some people thinking. Too bad these people have tried doing it the easy and mediocre way. Whatever happened with real and healthy competition? Some people today just want to imitate and copy, with no contribution of their own.

Lol @ the price
Next you will hear orkut copied for $75…
Where is this world heading too?
Where is the originality?
God, people would do anything for dirt cheap money

Maybe I should stop spending hours and hours developing sites, and just pay some freelancer a few bucks to do it. I’d get a lot more sleep.
