SEO Contest Update

Today is day 56 of our Redscowl Bluesingsky SEO Contest, and there are only 6 Days left! Time to find a good box to ship the iBook. It looks like Jeremy Schoemaker (ShoeMoney), the generous sponsor of the Redscowl contest, is going to actually win. I could be wrong, but the ammount of backlinks he has collected in less than 2 months is pretty unreal.
If Jeremy wins, he will pass the $500 he donated to the contest to the 2nd place winner. Very generous.
Speaking of Jeremy, he has just announced that he will be hosting the largest SEO contest ever on his site ShoeMoney.com. This ShoeMoney SEM/SEO contest will be worth over $25,000.00. I’m not sure when he plans to start it, but I’m sure that most SEO sites will cover it.

I wonder if there is going to be a 2nd & 3rd place prize? I highly recommend it. Why? Because consider the following scenario…
You find yourself in the top 3 throughout the contest. weeks before the contest ends you were even in the top 2. You decide that your too close to let that $25000 slip out of your hands so you just about kill yourself spending tons of hours getting more and more backlinks.
Problem is, one of the other persons in the top 3 does this too… and he just barely beats you for the #1 spot.
Now, if I had spent all that time working hard at this, I’d be physical ill to get #2 or #3 and not get some kind of lesser “consulation” prize…. perhaps $2k for 2nd place and $1k for 3rd place. In fact, I’d be more likely to participate even if the grand price were then reduced by a few thousand dollars because I’d see this as “risk protection”. (and these numbers not be too conservative!)

>and these numbers not be too conservative
sorry. typo… I meant that my suggested consulation prizes might even be too small.

Good luck to everyone!!! If I still got 2-5th listings at the end, who ever is below me can take the free hosting. I got a dedicated server.

I see an upset in some of the datacenters!!!
Though the number of results in those ones look like it’s an old database, though this is the first time this site’s been #1 in a datacenter. I think it’s a Google glitch!!!
