Google Personal Search History Trends

Google just added another personalized search feature called ‘Trends’. This feature allows you to view statistics about your searches including:

It seems like Google could put this info to better use to personalize advertising for the personal pages, but I’m impressed that they haven’t done that yet. I know that a lot of other companies have done that, including Yahoo. I use the MyYahoo interface, and I have noticed that mine looks a lot different that my wife’s. Her’s has a lot of pink ads featuring products geared toward Females, while my ads are more sterile looking.
