Almost 6 Months and No Update: Is PageRank Dead?

There hasn’t been an Toolbar Pagerank export since April 30th. That’s almost a full 6 months which is pretty much unheard of. SEOlogs.com’s PR update history/ calendar only goes back to 2005, but seocompany.ca has recorded updates since 2000, and there has never been a gap this big.
So what’s going on? I’m guessing that maybe there are some changes happening at the Googleplex. Maybe a major algorithm update, or maybe they are have just decided to totally get rid of Pagerank. I mean… do they even use it for ranking purposes anymore? Or is it just to keep from bursting a lot of proud webmaster’s egos.
Well, I for one hope that they keep it, mostly for selfish reasons, but I do think that Visible Pagerank is a useful resource that gives a good idea of how established a site is. Also, I’d just miss seeing the little green meter on my toolbar.

My website http://www.funwadi.com was PR3 and it dropped to PR2 past 2 weeks and for all my other websites, the PR remains the same and even for other websites on internet, I don’t see any changes except my website which dropped a little
I am confused that when I check PR through http://www.seologs.com/pr-check/pagerank.html?url=www.funwadi.com it shows PR3 but with iwebtool and other tools and toolbar, it shows PR2
Is there any update going on?
