Link Requests Don’t Work. Unless …

Ok, this really wasn’t a link request, but I got a nice email today from a nice fellow named Chris. Attached was a shiny new SEOlogs logo.

Said that he had noticed a post a while back (actually a contest) where I was requesting new design ideas. He was basically like, “Here you go. Cheers!”

Chris definitely was not asking for links. Didn’t send me a fill in the blank / cookie cutter request. He didn’t beg. Didn’t try to convince me that I need to do a link exchange to help both of us.

Just a sincere offer to help out SEOlogs.

Update:
I decided to take the logo down after getting some feedback from a few people, but the gesture is still appreciated very much.
