Book Review: Make Easy Money with Google

I just bought and read the book “Make Easy Money with Google – Using the AdSense Advertising Program”. Overall the book isn’t bad, but it seems to be geared to the extreme internet beginer. The majority of the book is spent explaining trivial things like “what is a domain name?”, “where do you host a website?”, or “how do you publish a website?”. Make Easy Money with Google doesn’t go into more important things like “Where is the best place to put an ad?” or “What is the best format to use?”. They explain a lot of stuff that doesn’t really matter, and definitely won’t make you any “Easy Money”.

The closest this book comes to talking about any SEO stuff is listing the url’s where you can submit your site to Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Thats it.

If I wasn’t in such a hurry when I was at the Bookstore, I definitely wouldn’t have spent the $20 on this book.

The book does have a couple of interesting ideas, so instead of spending $20 on this book, spend an hour in your local book store skiming it.

    I would rather take more extremity. This book is barren, I would totaly unadvise this book to any kind reader – either beginner or pro. Book contains articles about truly simple things, which one can found in the Internet without paying 20$

    Sad, but true :\
