    Lately I’ve been having a terrible time with comment spam, so I had to make it so users must register before posting. We have had a lot of good comments, but the comment spam is just overwhelming sometimes.

      I’m seeing some activity on http://gfe-hs.google.com/

      For example, for one of my client’s web site which I’m helping regarding SEO, they jumped from #179 to #2 for one fo their main targetted phrases… but I only see that result on the “HS” datacenter.

      Any ideas about this? Is this a fluke? Or is this testing? Or is this the beginning of a rollout of a new update?

      First, welcome to SEOlogs pvsys.

      There has been a lot of flip flopping going on lately in the serps. Jagger never really seemed to settle. If the site has never been at #2 then chances are that it may stick, but if #2 was an old position (pre Jagger), then it may end up going back to 179.

      Just keep an eye on it for now.
