Google Adsense CPA Ads

The Adsense Blog has just announced that they are now accepting applications for their new beta referrals program. This is a new program that works just like the Google product referrals (Adsense, Adwords, Firefox w/ Google Toolbar, and Google Pack), except that they are now allowing publishers to promote other select products and services from regular AdWords advertisers. This should add more opportunities for publishers who haven’t yet tried the referrals because they couldn’t find a fit for their sites.
These types of ads are nothing new. There are lots of CPA affiliate programs out there. Personally, I haven’t yet found one that I have been able to make any money with consistently. I’m sure this is due to my lack of skill, because I know people who make lots and lots of money from many of these programs. I have, however, had pretty good success so far with the original Google referrals program, and I’ll be interested to see how the new beta program will look and perform. Hopefully, I’ll be able to test it soon.
