I Can Haz Pagerank? Plz?

Ok, I’ll admit, I was selling links via pay per post, and other similar services, but I have long since removed all of that.
It has been well over 10 months since I removed all such links. I even wrote a post about my attempt to clean up the site of all paid links. I took a cut of at least $400/ month (probably more) because of it, but still, the pagerank continues to drop.
Below is a historical view of the PageRank for SEOlogs.com (courtesy of SEOmoz Pagerank Tool)
* PageRank 2 reported 3 days, 2 hours ago
* PageRank 2 reported on 10/05/2008
* PageRank 3 reported on 07/12/2008
* PageRank 3 reported on 01/22/2008
* PageRank 5 reported on 01/15/2008
* PageRank 4 reported on 11/22/2007
* PageRank 4 reported on 11/09/2007
* PageRank 4 reported on 11/02/2007
* PageRank 5 reported on 08/27/2007
* PageRank 5 reported on 08/27/2007
* PageRank 5 reported on 08/08/2007
So what do I need to do to get my pagerank back? I know a lot of people could care less, and that’s fine with me, but I want my pagerank back.

First, be really, really, really sure you’ve cleaned it all up. If you missed one, you’re still toast.
When sure, file a reconsideration request. Explain the situation truthfully and completely. Promise to never, ever be a bad boy again.
Cross your fingers. If you really haven’t missed anything in the cleanup, you should get your PR restored again pretty quickly (I’d say a few days to a week, most likely).

Thanks Donna. I actually talked to Skitzzo at pubcon last week, and he told me your story
I will do one last sweep of the site to make sure I got them all. Then I’ll file a reconsideration request.

Hey, something is tickling my memory; do you remember anything about selling PageRank-passing links on eBay?

Do you mean the marketplace section that makes me absolutely no money at all?
Sorry for the delay in response to this… I recently (starting monday) moved to a new office, so things have been a bit tight. Thank you for the response though. Much appreciated. I had all but forgotten about that marketplace selling junk ebay domains.

I guess the other main thing would be the PageRank checker, because that’s scraping PageRank without permission.

True, and fair enough.
I don’t suppose there’s any way to do this with permission?

Not that I know of.
BTW, the ordering of which comment fields get highlighted when I tab through the page is a little out of the order that I would have expected.

It’s actually a bit of a trick to catch comment spam. It was driving me nuts…
