GoogleMobile Sighting

Last night, I was driving home, when out of the corner of my eye, I spotted something really strange. A car with a huge white flag bolted to the roof.

When I took a closer look at the car, noticed a Google Logo on the door, and immediately knew what it was.

The Google Maps Street Level Camera car. Right in my home town of Mount Pleasant, SC. I know the pics are blurry, but that’s what you get with a camera phone at night.

Here’s a picture of the whole fleet of specially modified Chevy Cobalt cars, equipped with roof-mounted cameras capable of shooting 360 degree photos.

I wonder what the driver thought of being chased around by a guy with a camera phone pointed at him LOL

The guy was actually driving pretty fast. It was a bit hard to keep up. :) I don’t think he noticed me though.
