Google Pagerank and Backlink Update
- Posted by Badi Jones on October 3rd, 2006 - Comment on this Post »
For those of you who are into Google Updates, the Pagerank and Backlink update that started around last Thursday or Friday is finally finishing up. Well, at least for SEOlogs.com it is. I’m sure there are still some variations in the data centers, but the Home page here has settled at a PR5, up from PR4. A few other pages here made it up to a PR6. Not bad.
The Google Pagerank and Backlink Updates History Calendar has been updated to reflect the changes.

Howdy – I can’t say I’ve reach the same conclusion – that the backlink update is complete – it’s a week after the start and we still see our site with old bl/pr numbers and seologs.com is showing similar stats. The seologs.com home page still shows pr4 on the toolbar and is about 50/50 pr4/pr5 using the seologs multiple datacenter pr tool. Anyone know what’s going on?

@fuzing
I noticed the same thing you did. I’m seeing pr5 for seologs home page in my toolbar, but lots of other data centers are still saying 4. I don’t know what to say. Hopefully it swings to the higher numbers for both of us.
