I have an off-topic question which I think would be worthy of a post. feel free to post this (please don’t credit me for asking)… and feel free to post this question as your own on other forums to see what other say:
For a competitive keyword or phrase, what ranking in google is equivalent in terms of traffic and exposure to a #1 ranking in MSN?
I’m very interested in what other expert opinions would say. I’d guess that a #1 ranking in MSN is about equivalant to about a #7 ranking in Google. But, again, I’d love your’s and other’s opinions on the matter.

There’s 45672347887823 different answers to that question since there’s 45672347887823 different possible combinations of keywords you can enter in the search engines!!
Bah! redscowl-bluesingsky.net got a PR 4, while four of my other RB sites with less back-links got PR 5!

I think you misunderstood me. I meant, for any ONE PARTICULAR keyword or phrase.
For example, I’m currently developing a spam filter, and the most lucritive phrase to rank high on, by a wide margin, is “spam blocker”.
Therefore, once my filter is completed and I begin to market it, what ranking on Google for “spam blocker” would be equivelant to a #1 ranking for “spam blocker” on MSN?
