The Infamous Google Sandbox

Yes, its the dreaded “S” word: Sandbox! I think we can all agree that it exists. It is basically a part of the Google algorithm that attempts to filter out spam, but in the process, it filters out a lot of sites that are good.
There is a great discussion about the Sandbox going on over at SEORefugee.com, which was started by member rmccarley after he published his theories about avoiding the sandbox.
This discussion has made me realize 2 very important things.
1. The Sandbox is NOT about time:
How could it be? If I just made a site about SEO, published it, submitted it to Google, and then waited, I would be waiting for a long time.
2. The Sandbox IS all about links
The more GOOD (good meaning from varied IPs, one way, and natural) links a site gets, the faster effects of the Sandbox will be loosened.
The discussion is still going on over at SEORefugee.com, so Check it out. You may learn somthing.
